Where We Work

We work Mobile and Baldwin counties, Alabama — Mobile and the towns around it, the Eastern Shore, the Gulf beaches and everything between them. If your town is not listed, call and ask — we will give you a straight answer rather than a maybe.

Local conditions

Why local
knowledge matters

The ground is not the same across this region, and neither are the failures. Near the water — Dauphin Island, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Fort Morgan — we are working in deep sand with a water table close to the surface, and much of the housing stock is elevated on pilings or shallow crawlspaces. Erosion and moisture drive most of what we see there.

The Eastern Shore — Daphne, Montrose, Fairhope, Point Clear — sits up on a bluff above Mobile Bay, where what the run-off is doing to the slope matters as much as what the soil is made of. Inland there is far more clay in the profile, and on the farm ground around Robertsdale, Loxley and Bay Minette it can change noticeably from one lot to the next.

Then there is the newer construction throughout the area, where the issue is frequently neither: it is fill that was placed and never properly compacted, still consolidating under the weight of the house.

Knowing which of those you are dealing with before quoting a repair is the whole job. It is the reason we inspect before we price.

Service area FAQs

Common
questions

Do you charge for travel or for the inspection?

No on both counts, anywhere in the service area listed above. The inspection is free, on site, and carries no obligation. If we quote a repair, travel is already in the price rather than added later.

Do you work outside these counties?

Sometimes, depending on the project. Larger commercial work and jobs adjacent to our boundary are worth a conversation. What we will not do is stretch so far that we cannot service the warranty properly, so if the answer is no, we will say no rather than take the job and be slow to come back.

Do you work with realtors, engineers and property managers?

Regularly. We handle pre-listing and pre-purchase inspections and work with property managers and HOAs on multi-building and common-area projects.
